Success Is Not Just For The Lucky

Though it's true that luck may play a considerable part to one's success, but don't think that success is entirely for the lucky ones. But so much has also been said about generating your own brand of luck and it's not a supernatural thing.

If you think that success smiles for the lucky alone, think again. Lots of successful people become where they are right now, enjoying the fruits of their labor by having the right connections. Meeting the right person at the right time, and of course hard work also pays off. Showing up to see what the world has to offer helps also. If you want to make things happen and be ready to face the world of possibilities, then you have to get out of your house and take some extra effort.

If you may think again that sure, he got successful because connections are just for the lucky ones who are fortunate enough to be born on a silver platter and acquired those connections effortlessly by birth.

Well, how about those rags to riches story of successful individuals from dirt poor families who never let their poverty be hindered to their goals and achievements? Have you seen the movie " The Pursuit of Happiness " starring Will Smith? It's actually based on the life of Chris Gardner who rose from rags to riches. It's actually one of the best inspiring movies I've watched by far.

By showing up, you've already taken the first step. Some people got it easily, but there are some which takes effort to be where they want. But ignoring the great variance, it doesn't matter how fast or how long or how easy you got to where you always want to be.

The most important thing here is, being there where you always wanted to be. I think success when taken with a lot of trials and challenges along the way, is way sweeter because you toiled hard and when you're there already, you realized that you've come a long way to give this all up and in the end, you're so worth it!

That's why success is not just for the lucky.
